After School Study Program
| Volunteers Are Always Needed |
As we start our third year, St. Mark’s After School Study Program would like to thank the volunteers who have been assisting the children with after school learning program!
We are always looking for more volunteers?
We currently have 27 children in the program and 5 volunteers. We are always looking for a few more volunteers.
Our study | tutoring program runs Mondays through Thursdays from 3:10-4:00PM.
The program has students divided into two learning groups; grades 1-5 and grades 6-8.
The children often need help with their reading, math, and memory work.
Don’t be concerned with the learning; there is a teacher on duty each day working with the volunteers.
This type of learning assistance can be accomplished by any individual that has a desire to work with and help children.
Please consider sharing your talents one or two days a week or every other week. Any amount of time is greatly appreciated.
The After-School Study program continues to grow and is making a measurable difference for the students, their families and teachers.
If you wish to volunteer, pay a visit to the study program or if you would like more information, please contact Mr. Uttech (262-8501) or Mrs. Georgene Hughes (261-7175). Your assistance can make a real difference!
